One Voice - The Spirit of 9/12

The California 9/11 Memorial Board members, having the highest priority on student and family safety, have approved our student competition for this year, 2025: 

• The 25th Anniversary 9/11 event is to happen on September 12, 2026, at Clovis Memorial Veteran’s Building. A reception will begin at 10:00 am, and the awards ceremony will start at 10:30 am. The Top 10 in each category will be on display.  
• We will honor our first responders and all Americans we lost on that tragic day, and also celebrate the Spirit of 9/12 when all Americans came together to help each other.
• The student competitions are now open, with the entries being due on Thursday, April 30, 2026. There will be categories for: Art and Poetry student competitions. Grand Prize winners will be selected from 7th-12th grade Art and Poetry entries, they will each receive a new laptop! Also, two teachers of Grand Prize students will be awarded a $500.00 Amazon gift card. Check out the guidelines for more information.
